Non-Congruent Alternate Interior Angles

Non congruent alternate interior angles are angles that are not the same measure and are on opposite sides of the transversal but inside the two lines. These angles are not the same measure and are opposite of the transversal but are inside the two lines. Ladders are used to reach things that are high up.

Angle Bisector

An angle bisector is a line or ray that divides an angle in half. The arrow of this bow and arrow forms an angle bisector because it divides the angle in half. Bow and arrows are not as prominent now, but are still used for hunting.

Adjacent Non-Supplementary Angles

This TV and antenna form a pair of non-adjacent non-supplementary angles. Adjacent angles share a line or ray, which A and B do. A and B are also non-supplementary because combined, they are not equal to 180 degrees. This TV is specific to the broadcasting industry and Televisions are used everywhere to watch shows and movies.

Segment Bisector

A segment bisector is a line, ray, or segment that divides a line segment into two equal parts. I took this picture of a table in my house. The intersecting parts of the table divides the line segment into two equal parts; so this is an example of a segment bisector. Tables are used everywhere around the world.

Line Perpendicular to a Plane

A line is perpendicular to a plane when it is perpendicular to every line that passes through the plane. I took this picture of my computer and it shows a line perpendicular to a plane. This computer could be specific to the music production industry, because people make songs on the computer nowadays.

Supplementary Angles That Are Not A Linear Pair

This airplane gives us an example of supplementary angles that are not a linear pair.Supplementary angles are two angles that add up to 180 degrees and for them not to be a linear pair, they would both have to be 90 degrees/ a right angle. As you can see in the picture the angle at which the wing is is an acute angle. Airplanes are another example of air transportation that are specific to the air industry. I took this picture myself.

Skew Lines

The pink lines I outlined on this chair represent a pair of skew lines. Skew lines are not parallel and will never intersect. If these two pink lines were to go on forever, they would never intersect and they are not parallel. I took this picture myself.
